My thoughts and prayers to you , john and Rita and all the loved ones, its sad to hear but we all praying he comes out of this trauma soon. Such a great man and a great member. I always sought his advice about bike issues and he never fail to help. God Bless Him

Toni, Thanks for sharing this news about your Dad. When I first joined VRCC, he was one of the first to reach out to me. We have a lot of things in common, including both of us being Ex US Air Force, and having been stationed at Loring AFB up in Limestone Maine. I have had the honor of riding with and meeting your Dad on numerous occasions when I am down in Florida for the winters. He is one of the best human beings I have ever had the pleasure to meet. His inner strength is absolutely amazing! We are sending prayers, positive vibes, and tons of good thoughts for the complete and fast recovery of your father.  This board, his family and friends, and the entire world needs men like John Schmidt to help be a guiding force and moral compass. |
