My name is Rico and I just wanted to say that I have met some wonderful people in the Valkyrie family. I have been to the last 3 events and the last one I was a vender and I brought a lot of parts. I didn't know how to present this but it must be said. A customer asked me a couple of months ago for a CB for his Valkyrie. I knew I had some CB's that I brought to Beliare. Packing to come home, I didn't take inventor because I didn't think I had to, and I know I didn't sell a CB. Taking a closer look, I am missing a lot of parts that I didn't sell. I am not upset nor do I don't have any regrets, I met some wonder people, and I hope the person(s) that felt that my parts were free samples, enjoys them.

Rico,
That really blows me away. You would almost think it's impossible.

I don't see where he gave one away.

As some of you know, I worked in the criminal justice system for just short of 30 years. I came into contact on a daily basis with some of the worst, mean-spirited, vindictive, self-centered, butt wads you could possibly imagine . . . oh, and some of the criminals were bad too! I don’t know where truth lays here. Hopefully, it will turn out to be some type of mistake, but it always surprises me when a particular group thinks themselves exempt from the evils of our society. Not saying anyone is suggesting that. Don’t misunderstand me. It’s just that bad people can be found everywhere, even where you least expect them, like in churches and synagogues. Sorry it happened. My wife and I were JUST THIS MORNING talking about this; A few years back I had an accident on the Valk (Long story. Won’t bother repeating it.) Anyway, my exhaust tip and cover were crushed on one side. A member here sent me his old ones – still looked new – and only wanted shipping cost. He said to ‘play it forward.’ I hope that I have. I wish I could remember his name. Shame on me. He was living in Kansas and was a Navy Diver. Seems like he was deploying . . . His handle may have been ‘Diver’ but again, to my shame, I can’t remember. I would love to drop him a note. My point is; I think MY story represents this group better than any scuzzy pinhead stealing parts from a Vendor. Just thought I’d share the story. Oh yeah. . . I shouldn’t post this because the last two years I made plans to attend Inzane here in my backyard and the plans have crashed and burned. I even paid one year. . . But, I’m leaving for Independence MO Thursday. We’ll be out there during Inzane; about 420 miles away. We ‘plan’ on riding down for a day or two. We’re not registered (the whole jinx thing) but Lord willing. . maybe this is finally the year? Peace~ PS @ Willow; I’ve retired the orange. Did you notice? HAHA!

I agree 100 %, the majority here are great people, but there is always a few that ruin the mix. The first Inzane in Michigan, I was broad sided by a pickup in Saginaw Michigan, still went to the event with the crashed bike on a trailer. As soon as I registered, a local member offered me the use of his Interstate for the week, I declined the offer, but just shows that the majority always seem to go the extra mile for others. A real shame that one scum bag has to do some thing as low as that.

PS @ Willow; I’ve retired the orange. Did you notice? HAHA! And yet one more crosses over the line to become one of the good guys. Hope to see you in Eureka Springs. I show it a 230 mile ride.

Now that I was able to re-read Rico's post it is now clear what may have happened last year. I know that BIG MIKE brings lots of parts to Inzane. I also know that he couldn't find parts that he had brought for me. he may find those lost CB parts in Eureka Springs. T.P.

Rico is one great guy and not a bad dancer. He doesn't deserve for people to rip him off I am hoping he has just overlooked them...I would hate to think someone here would stoop that low to save a few bucks.
