I found a rear end and swing arm (no u joint) for sale. It was less than 10,000 miles on it. He wants $475 for it. Is that a fair price?

They're getting harder to find. Do you get the chance to look at it? Besides how good it looks
(scraped up and stuff) is the pinion cup good? Splines good? Does it come with a flange?
Plug in the (or a) flange,  and turn it back and forth some - is it tight or sloppy? Drive shaft come
with it?

I got a really good one for... $300 or so.... a couple of years ago, but a really good one for $475
these days seems worth it if you want a spare final drive.

The one I got had a caliper too... for an Interstate... so I gave the caliper to Stanley Steamer...

It comes with everything but the U joint.  A few years back he made 3 trikes and he's selling the extra parts. He wants $100 for the U joint and new ones are about $133. $75 for 1/2 the back fender. I think he's a little high.
