I'm just curious.  Just by the sheer volume of Valkyrie parts Pinwall regularly lists on eBay (not to mention, presumably, parts from other makes/models) - much of which seems to go unsold - I can only fathom the size of the storage facility they must maintain in Massillon, Ohio.  Has anyone ever been there?  Price notwithstanding, can one assume they are a (or "the") primary go-to source for used Valk parts?  Again, just wondering.  Terry

Interesting observation...

Looked 'em up, and I'm guessing they're either SUPER organized, have a Tardis or Bag of Holding on site, or have an off-site warehouse somewhere else judging by the size of their facilities from this satellite view:

(Not saying the site isn't large, it is, but always pictured it being a LOT bigger than even that. Interesting that it appears to be all indoors too.)

Good rack system.

Good inventory system.

Those buildings could house a heck of a lot of bike parts.

And yes, I know it's for the greater good, those parts will be used to keep other bikes alive and on the road, but as I was looking at the picture of that warehouse, I couldn't help but to start hearing Taps playing softly in my head. Not only for all the bikes that ended up in there, but for the riders that were riding them when whatever happened happened to them that put them in there...  angel

There is also a place that I visited last week in Auburn Maine.  Maine Cycle.  A large, indoor warehouse with 3 floors of parts and bikes in various stages of tear down.  The unfortunate thing is... they did not have much in the way of Valkyrie.  goldwing, but not valk.  for those that are looking for some parts for a 2nd project bike... they do have a ton of stuff for other makes and models.  a google will get you there.  i'm pretty sure they do online purchases.

i worked in a bike salvage yard 20 or so years ago. you can fit 30-40 calipers in a single milk crate. 80,000 square feet = 100,000+ bikes disassembled.

I felt the same way the last time I went to our bike salvage yard here in Phoenix. Undecided

I have noticed a lot of salvage bikes on ebay and other places from that same town. I don't know if that's Pinwall tho.
