“Kill Bill” star David Carradine was found dead in a Bangkok hotel room Wednesday, his manager told FOX News Thursday.

His manager told FOX News that it is believed the actor died of natural causes.

Carradine, 73, was staying in Bangkok while shooting a movie. The film crew became aware of his absence when they went to dine out at a restaurant yesterday. When a producer went to his room, he discovered that the actor had died.

Carradine was best known for his role in the television series “Kung Fu.”

I don't like it when they call him the star of "Kill Bill" which he and Uma Thurmon were.  He was also recently the star of "Hellride" a biker movie. The jacket cover and the press on "Hellride" calls it his return to biker film, but I don't recall him there before...

What he did do that he was known for (and why he got the part in "Kill Bill") was Kung Fu!

And then when I was a child he did the less noted "Kung Fu: The Legend Continues." My dad and I would watch that one together at night. On the commercials I'd twist around in the floor and Dad would tell me about the original Tv show that he would remember bits and pieces of as we watched the new series. Dad had watched the first as a youngster. I watched the second as a youngster.

That was good times. That's what I remember about David Caradine.

It turns out he has about six movies in post-production at the moment. All of which will come out in the next few years probably claiming to be his last film.

He was in Roadside Prophets (1992) perhaps that is why he is listed as a biker filmer. He also played a biker in 2 episodes of "Dark Room" (1981). I'm not sure I'd list him as a veteran of biker genre films unless I'm missing something. I'd lump him into western and of course Kung Fu and independent films readily.

I really enjoyed him hosting Wild West Tech on the History Channel.  He and his brother Keith traded off duties of hosting.  Good show.

Let us not forget, unless I missed it above, The Long Riders which starred the Keach Bros, The Carradine Bros (3) and the Quaid's (2). That is if memory serves me at all. The James's, the Cole's and the Youngers.

I have enjoyed that movie over the years.  Wink
