My wife and I went to one and everybody else was there! But it was only an hour and half to the food. I needed to get some sun anyway so standing in line was probably good for me!

The one in Lewisville, TX was packed when I went for lunch. Its parking lot was full and overflowing to the mall next door with large groups walking in. I got there right at 11:30 and it took almost 30 minuted from back of line to food on the table. I couldn't decide between a salad and a sandwich, so I got a salad and a sandwich! The crowd was comprised of young, old, black, white, brown, Asian, mixed couples with mixed babies, mini-van moms w/loads of kids, and guys buying 3-4 sacks of to-go for their offices. There was even a Valkyrie guy there having lunch with his Harley friend of 45 years. Yep, a real cross-section.
Those breakfast biscuits looked good, too...

I don't even like Chik-fil-A, haven't eaten one in in probably 25 yrs. but I'll have one, today.
I'm not in complete agreement with the ownership, My god doesn't hate fags, I think gays should have the same rights at the county courthouse as straights, I'm just tired to death of them dog-piling anyone who doesn't agree with them.
Where did you get the idea that the owner of Chic-Fil-a hates "fags"? From what I have read he just voiced his opinion on the meaning of marriage based on his faith. This guy has given 5 million dollars to groups that are classified as Hate groups. Specifically anti gay groups. I guess anyone can give money to anyone they want. I have never been to one of these joints as the only place they are is in malls. To me, that means they are nothing but a 5th rate burger joint. No respectable restaurant sets up shop in a food court at the mall. I will never go there now. I'm not pro gay, but not anti gay either. As long as they don't bother me, I don't care what they do in private. On a positive note, it's good to see bigotry is .

And unlike the "occupy" low life's everyone was polite and patient, looks like there is hope for us yet...

they send $ to hate groups so i don't send $ to them. seriously, they give cash to anti gay groups and hate groups. what makes Cathy any less a scumbag than Soros? NOTHING. so you go ahead and support him. you go ahead and drink that red kool-aide while the others drink the blue kool-aide. I pray every day that both side end up killing themselves off.

There is nothing the left LOVES more than HATE. My experience has been that Liberals hate people, and Conservatives hate the actions of people. For example... I don't hate Obama, I just hate what he has done to this country. liberals on the other hand absolutely HATE George W. Bush as a person.

I watch neither,,, got this info using search engine,,,, is this the southern poverty previously referenced ? Southern Poverty Law Center The Southern Poverty Law Center is a left-wing legal and activist organization created in 1971 in Montgomery, Alabama. It was founded by trial lawyers Morris Dees and Joe Levin, and its first president was civil rights leader Julian Bond, who would later take control of the NAACP. SPLC supports a wide variety of liberal positions; it is pro-immigration (both legal and illegal), advocates multiculturalism and the homosexual agenda, supports racial preferences and defendants' rights, and advocates against what it considers "hate groups". In 2012, Black pastors confronted the Southern Poverty Law Center for smearing as ‘hate groups’ pro-family organizations opposed to homosexual agenda. [1] Reverend Dr. Patrick Wooden declared that it is wrong to compare “my beautiful blackness” with homosexual perversion.[2] The SPLC's op-ed writings have appeared in the Communist Party USA's newspaper People's World. [3] This "controversial, liberal organization" [4] has been criticized in mainstream press for being extravagant in its spending, and using charges of racism to stifle conservatives. [5]

Many people dont know the facts about the gay movement that I posted here. It is a normal tactic that they claim to be a victim and that people who donate money and time to groups that oppose the gay agenda are just bad and terrible people or worse bigots, animals, or any of the other things you can say that are wrong about people. Gays came off the DSM in 78 not by scientific evidence but by the decision of one sympathetic psychiatrist. We see how this happened not by political persuasion or medical studies but by actual violence. I think tanks post about how hateful they are to support pro marriage groups pissed me off. Chick can support who ever they want its not hateful at all. Pro gay groups have gotten their members elected to governmental offices just to further the gay agenda donations by the millions and possibly billions have gone to the gay agenda for such as George Soros. In Colorado any male or female can enter a womans bathroom by law as long as they think they are a female. I will also say this the American Psychological Association has defined that as long as you are ok with being gay or pedophile or any position you want to be in life then your ok. There are already is pedophile movement that has achieved taking them off the DSM. It took a call from the Justice department to get them put back on. I post all of this so we have a informed people and we can say we want to stand up for our rights. Oh we all know that it was the courts that overturned the peoples will with a legitimate vote in California, NO people have ever voted in gay marriage it has been by a act of politicians, courts or governments. While the gay agenda has distanced itself from the pedophile groups the objective is to change the very fabric of society especially in the areas about sexual liberation so that anything will be allowable. They have made alliances with socialists that want the US to change to socialism over 100 senators are already part of this movement. If you wonder why the changes to the US lately look at the Socialist agenda also. Anytime a scientific organization endorses Homosexuality, remember Gittings words: They are running scared. Pro-sod activists have learned that intimidation and strategic alliances work, and they are never hesitant about using intimidation and physiological manipulation to reach the goals of their radical agenda. Adopting terrorism as a means, pro-sod activists set their vicious sights on Dr. David Reuben, one of the best-known psychologists in the area of human sexuality in 1974. Unbeknownst to Dr. Reuben, pro-sod activists were lying in wait outside one of his lectures and his physical safety was at risk. Pro-sod author Leigh Rutledge describes the attack in her book The Gay Decades, June 16, A fist fight broke out at a Philadelphia playhouse when ten gay activists interrupted a lecture by D.r. David Rueben and denounced him as a criminal for his views on male gay. One policeman and a protestor are injured in the melee. On that same page, the book tells us that, The Centers for Disease Control estimate that gay or bisexual men account for as much as one-third of the cases of syphilis Kay Lahusen and Barbara Gittings know what really happened to the A.P.A. In the book Making History they are quite open about the reality.Kay: This was always more of a political decision than a medical decision Barbara: It never was a medical decision and that's why I think the action came so fast. After all, it was only three years from the time that feminists and gays first zapped the APA at a behavior therapy session to the time that the Board of Trustees voted in 1973 to approve removing homosexuality from the list of mental disorders. It was a political move. The APA was thoroughly intimidated. In 1974, after the APAs vote, Gittings was interviewed by pro-sod movement historian Jonathan Ned Katz. Gittings brags, Thats how far we've come in ten years. Now we even have the American Psychology Association running scared In the morning, the Stonewall bar was a burned-out wreck and four police were injured. Pro-sod leaders declared the violence a success. Interestingly, the anniversary of this event is known today as “Gay Pride Day” and features parades and other events most notable for their public felacio acts It is ironic that the very activists who emerged from this new environment developed the strategy of claiming victim status through the use of such symbols as the pink triangle.Following the Stonewall acts the Mattachine Action group called for organized resistance but control of the movement was taken out of their hands by a still more radical group Enter, the “Gay Lib Front” At the heart of this new circle of power was Herbert Marcuse a long time Socialist who had learned this and perhaps sod in pre-Nazi Germany. In the wake of the Stonewall riots, “Gay Liberation Fronts” sprang up across the country, using methods of intimidation and coercion to achieve political gains. Immediately they targeted the medical community, whose increasing effectiveness in treating same-sex attraction threatened the movement Gay Liberation Fronts, writes Adam, “stormed San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago conventions of physiological medical and behavior modification,” shouting down speakers and terrorizing audience members

Went by the one in town yesterday. Couldn't get anywhere near the place. Would've been late to work if I'd have gone.
I don't care about the gay marriage issue. As far as I'm concerned, they can get married if they want to. If God is going to send them to hell for it, then that's their business.
And I don't really take sides with the owner of Chick-Fil-A either. He can express his opinion if he wants to, but I don't neccessarily agree with it........but what really pisses me off is the mayor of Chicago and Boston telling the owner of Chick-Fil-A what he can and can't do with his business because they don't agree with him.
Might try going by there later.

McDonalds is constantly under fire from the left. I don't understand why the liberal left finds it necessary to force others to comply to their agenda. If you don't want to patronize a business then don't. I had a discussion with my daughter about this when she was in high school. They saw the film Supersize Me and while we were going over some of the questions she had to answer about the film, I noticed one question wasn't there....."Why was McDonalds singled out?" My daughter said that it wasn't. It was about what fast food does to you when you eat too much. I asked, then why didn't he eat pizza, or tacos, or gyros, or from any other large franchise or chains like Burger King during that time, but only at McD's? Of course we both couldn't answer this. I told her to add this queston to the page and see if the teacher will discuss it in class. They didn't discuss it and I never got a straight answer as to why.

that's what the libertarian side of me says about gay marriage, so what? there are states that have that option for them and that's great, does it affect my rights if they get married? nope. we can talk about the moral decay of America but I don't think that has too much to do with it. gay marriage, doesn't make me upset. I think marriage should be between a man and a woman but its not for me to decide or condemn.

that's what the libertarian side of me says about gay marriage, so what? +1 A couple of girlfriends of mine/ours (rode cross-country to get married before adopting ethnically different babies to 1) start their family and 2) provide better futures to their adopteds) have reminded me of another perspective to keep in mind - as a whole, we straights haven't done a great job maintaining the sanctity of marriage...

Had to get some blood drawn that morning. So I stopped by for breakfast. Was not busy, but everyone that tried to go a lunch, 11 and 1, ened up taking long lunches, the drive up was wrapped around places and the tables were all full. Here in Charlotte, several also have patio seating. Those were full too. I went more for supporting the man to run his business as he sees and does nothing to break any employment laws. Unlike Wally World. His personal values are his and I support his right to express his ideals and not be villianized by any other group.
To quote a movie, I have nothing against 2 women kissing, as long as they are both HOT!

He can express his opinion if he wants to, but I don't neccessarily agree with it........but what really pisses me off is the mayor of Chicago and Boston telling the owner of Chick-Fil-A what he can and can't do with his business because they don't agree with him.
Might try going by there later.
My take on the Mayors, They have no intention of telling Chick-Fil-A anything. Gays are probably a large voting block in their cities and it was in their interests to take a side in the debate so they make a statement and then go back to their morning coffee and paper. They are politicans, their lips were moving, they are lying.

Stop the hate? Funny how he makes sure to press the point that "he" is NOT a homosexual. She should have tossed Mr. peace and tolerance a free hot cup of coffee. :tickedoff What a looser harass a poor counter girl about his views and that isn't hate or just plain stupidity? The other thing is do you realize that gays only make up 2 percent of the population and that no where in the US has anyone voted in homosexual marriage it has all been done by the courts or our politicians. Everyone knows that the peoples vote on this issue was overturned in California so that the courts ruled that the people cannot have things the way they want regardless of how they vote. Whats next the presidential elections being challenged?? The gay movement has teamed up with socialists to bring about a fundamental change in the US that is the reason the gay agenda has done so well in so short a time with such a small percentage of the population that it represents. If you look at the socialist web site and look at the values you will see that they correspond to what is happening in the US and that their values are being imposed on us.

An update to this fool in the video
August 02, 2012 17:02 ET Vante of Tucson, AZ Regrets Actions of Former CFO
Employee Has Left the Company
TUCSON, AZ--(Marketwire - Aug 2, 2012) - The following is a statement from Vante:
Vante regrets the unfortunate events that transpired yesterday in Tucson between our former CFO/Treasurer Adam Smith and an employee at Chick-fil-A. Effective immediately, Mr. Smith is no longer an employee of our company.
The actions of Mr. Smith do not reflect our corporate values in any manner. Vante is an equal opportunity company with a diverse workforce, which holds diverse opinions. We respect the right of our employees and all Americans to hold and express their personal opinions, however, we also expect our company officers to behave in a manner commensurate with their position and in a respectful fashion that conveys these values of civility with others.
We hope that the general population does not hold Mr. Smith's actions against Vante and its employees.

Mr. Smith is a total douche bag and I applaud Vante for firing him after such moronic behavior. These intolerant, self serving a-holes need to stop following the PC agenda and start thinking for themselves. Just because an organization doesn't share your opinion, it does not make it a hate group.
This whole Chick Fil A thing was inevitable, we need to keep supporting the organizations that are targeted by the intolerant groups in this country, maybe they will give it a rest.
BYE BYE, MR. Smith! I hope it was worth it! Good luck in your new career.
