Today is the 65th anniversery of the allied landing on Nomandy beach which spelled the begining of the end of Nazi Germany and some of the darkest days known to man.

I'd like to salute those fought in WWII and all of the men and women in uniform who teach us that freedom isn't free.....thank you. cooldude

Paul,

Thanks for remembering, I didn't remember the significance of the date until late last night. 

I'd like to thank the few heros that are left from that day, the list is rapidy getting shorter.  Please do what you can to educate our young who seem to be so concerned about who's winning American Idol and changing our country, what these people sacrificed, and also what our currrent heros are sacrificing, so that they enjoy their freedom and worry about something as trivial as American Idol. 

God Bless our country and our military.  I hope our politicians get what they deserve for selling out the people that entrusted them with running our country.
