So Kurayaken told me that they make nothing that will fit my '99 IS.?!?!?

What?  crazy2

There are two cheap spindly pegs on there now from when I bought the bike.

I want nice wide ones that I can rest my heel on along with the front of my feets!

Recommendations?

thx

They say that because of those useless air scoops under the crash bars.  These are the most popular which I used with the scoops in place.

I recently just cut the scoops off since they do nothing but get in the way.
I will be selling mine since buying a set of Mic-O-Pegs.  Loving the Mics.

I'm a southern transplant from Netcong NJ.  coolsmiley

I wish it was bike week so I could see all their stuff in the flesh.

I had a nice set on my FLH that had a seperate piece extending downward for my heels.

I rest my heel on the forward peg and modulate the forward controls with the
front of my feets  cooldude

Anywho... if you find a right place for your hiway peg, you might find them
comfortable as "just a heel rest..."...

A Honda M/C dealer has recently opened in Springfield Mo. While i'm aware this does not help you at all i do have a point. On the showroom floor he has 2 eight sided racks with Kury stuff. A LOT of Kury stuff. And the ones that STEELERS RudeDog posted are the ones that came on my I/S. At 6ft 2 inches i had some adjusting to do to get them comfortable for me. If they had not come with the Valkyrie i would have ponied up the loot to get them.  cooldude RIDE SAFE.

I just cut out the air scoops on my IS . About a 1/2 " slot the length of the scoop , my new Kurys fit just great now . I used an air operated whiz  wheel , took about 1/2 hr from start to finish , nothing complicated , good luck

The scoops are welded along the inside length of the crash guard tubing. This keeps the Kury clamps from going around the tube. Many/most of us just mount the Kury's back just behind the scoops. I recall that there was only one (out of the many) adjustment position that would work when all was said and done.

After several sets of highway pegs in various locations and offset adapters.
After all the money I spent on Kury and ShowChrome stuff, I could have bought the MOPs in the first place.

I bought a set of Mick-O-Pegs and found true contentment.
MOPs are a truely quality product and Jim Mick will work with you have unusual needs.
Absolutley "Recommended".
