See ya'll Friday at the party

I'm sitting here reading "From Discourse in Life to Discourse in Poetry: Teaching Poems as Bakhtinian Speech Genres," which is about as much fun as it sounds, trying to get myself caught up so that I can slip off for part of the weekend and head from Indiana PA to Gettysburg PA to hang out with the VRCC.

Unfortunately I can't slip away for long, I'm writing a paper and reading more fun works like this one before Monday, so I'll miss the group ride which is a shame. But I'll still get to hop on the Valk and ride for two days so it should be a good weekend.

We'll come in earlier than the group most likely to Gettysburg and look around Friday before the party, look around some Saturday then head back up to study some more.

That's the plan.
