Turn Signal Problem

My left turn signal stays on.... checked the bulbs and they are ok. any ideas?

I'd guess the grease in the switch has hardened up. Open the Housing and spray some brake cleaner in there. Move the switch back and forth and use a Q tip to clean it out. Relube the contacts and moving parts with a dielectric grease (Super Lube). It should be good for several more years.

Could be that your flasher is shorted.

Sounds also like you have lost the turn signal ground back under the right side cover, look in the black boot and find the green wire.
Make sure the connection has a good connection. It has a tendency to work loose.

Hey guys, I found the loose wire... was in the headlight connection. I did an upgrade to the cobra light bar and took the lead wire for the spots out of the headlight and added a fusebox back under the right side cover like kingbee. I must have loosened one of the signal wires in the process.

Not only check the signal fluid level, but it does need changing. Be sure to use only full synthetic, DOT XXVII approved, or they will flash slow in cold weather.
