I adjusted my rpm and got it to adjust  but I was wondering if I should put some Sea Foam in the gas?. Now that it is close to winter I dont ride my bike as much but I do ride it once a week about thirty miles to keep it up. Would it hurt to leave the Sea Foam in the  tank for that long if I put some in?.

I put a full can of Sea Foam in MGM at the start of the winter storage.   Then when I take it out it is ready to rumble and all summer I usually add a 1/2 can to every 3rd tank.    Just make sure your tank is FULL.

SeaFoam cant hurt a thing.
In my experience Ive found Techron to be a better product for gas storage and removing gummed up accumilation.
Followed by Berrymans as an additive to help keep it clean and burn up the alcohols in the fuel.
Plus Berrymans is alot less expensive then the other 2 as an additive and works well.
Both are a bit stronger then SeaFoam.
I use a full bottle of Techron per 5 gallons for cleaning.
It doesnt get into the oil as does SeaFoam, it all burns during combustion.

Startron, available at most marine supply outlets, such as West Marine, sell this product to counteract the seperation of ethanol fuel and stablise all fossil fuels.  It comes in an 8 oz. plastic bottle for about $12 & 1/2 oz will treat our tank size.  It will also unclog jets from fuel seperation and the so called laquer crystals that form so quickly in carbs.  No I don't own any part of the company (I wish I did!) or profit from others useing it, but I do use it with great success.  For what it's worth.......   ?? How did you discover that SeaFoam gets into the oil?

Yeah, I wondered that myself.

Me thinks someone was blowing smoke on oil & Seafoam getting mixed.

Maybe they got their wires crossed?  Cheesy  Seafoam can be used in a crankcase as well as the gas. No
Seafoam in my crankcase, thank you, but periodically it's quite welcome in the fuel tanks of my Valks.   cooldude
