I could have sworn I posted this over a week ago, but apparently, I never hit "post".  Since our regular schedule for our meeting put it on Thanksgiving evening, I didn't figure we'd get many folks to show up.  Therefore, we've pushed our meeting off until Nov. 29.  7:30 as usual.  We'll be in Baytown, at Tortuga's:

4710 East Freeway
Baytown, TX 77521-8883
(281) 839-3902

My apologies.

May make it tonight. I may be in the truck as lady has developed a lighting problem. If I hit the brakes the headlights go out. This just started yesterday. I hit the brakes and my volt meter dropped to 10 volts and my GPS rebooted, as soon as I let off the brakes everything returned to normal. Got home and disconnected my only non stock brakelight and thought I found it. I pulled the front brake and the brakelights work fine but the front signals also come on as brakes and the headlights go out. I'm fixing to tear into this as soon as my coffee starts to kick in. Wish me luck. I have a Hoppy trailer box wired on the bike and this is where I'm gonna start. Keep ya'll posted.

Hope to make it tonight.  Picked up a flat tire on my car today so it's down until tomorrow.  So I'll likely have to ride the Phat one unless my wife makes me take her car.

Nervous about the distance and the night ride but figure if I leave early, stick to the back roads, and take my time I'll be alright.

Likely going to go thru Huffman and Crosby to I-10 and then stay on frontage road.

I am going to try to make it, in the cage.

Dropped my trunk and bags off with painter today.  Hopefully, they will be done about the time Santa gets time to put her back together.

Look forward to seeing some Valks for a change.  I am having withdrawal.

Now I understand our northern friends and their wintertime PMS blues.

ragincajun,  Road work in Crosby but not bad at the time you'll be going thru there. You can take 1942 east from Barrett Station to garth road and it'll take you right to the mall where the rest. is. It's kind of hard to find go right once you get in the mall parking lot and it is on the I-10 fender side. I'm not gonna make it or I'ld meet you in huffman and ride with you. Ya'll enjoy youselves.

My problem disappeared this morning. I cycled all the switches several times and fired her off and everything is working fine. I hate this cause if I found somethingbroke  I could fix it. I did tighten the battery cable alittle but it was starting fine before the problem popped up. It's a weird thing, gremlin bell must has worked. cooldude

Great meeting everyone tonight, had a good (if nerve wracking) ride down and back but always good to get that first "longer" ride and "night" ride out of the way.  Even better I suppose if you do them together...lol.
