We're near the end of our Fall color here in Central Texas, so I headed out today to get one last Money shot with Hildr the Valkyrie.  These were taken on the Blanco River not far from Wimberley...

Great shots Charlie.  I can tell you used the big camera for these pictures.
Glad you got a ride in.

I really like the first one Charlie, the color saturation of the background is impressive.

Those are great pictures, I'm jealous of your late spring! Your post caused me to study your
area of Texas a little with Google maps with the "terrain" tab clicked... looks like lots
of good riding west of Austin... Canyon Lake? Marble Falls? Looks like you could easily go
west for a couple hundred miles and stay in hilly country... couldn't find too many roads though...

Yeah, I can't wait to get out there again as well! Beautiful country to ride in. Mary, anytime you and TJ want to go riding, please let me know. Kitty may not be in the picture any more, but I still look for reasons to go riding.

I can tell you used the big camera for these pictures.

Hey Jimmy, I used my Nikon D60.  Wish I would have had my "big camera" -- the Nikon D300s.  I think it would have held detail in the bright background better, but the D300s is...well...big, so you really have to want to take it along for the ride!

... looks like lots of good riding west of Austin...

Hey Mike, lots of good riding in this area!  When you get out this way give us a shout and we can do a little exploring.  I never get tired of riding the Texas Hill Country!

I know you have my email addy ... Please send me  all in Full original sizes ..

Hey Tracy, I did send you one of the pics...wondering if you got the email.  Have sent you a personal message through the board to see if I sent it to the right address.

Where did you get the tail pipe end caps at?

Hey Mase, the tailpipes are Peterbilt truck stacks and the end caps are Grumpy's -- one of our VRCC Sponsors.  Here's link about installing truck stacks from the VRCC home page...

Here's Grumpy's URL...

Thanks for the compliments everybody!  We've had a very mild Fall this year here in the Hill Country.  The colors were best I've ever seen.  So with the good weather, pretty Fall colors and a good camera even I can get a decent picture occasionally....or as they say, "Even a blind pig finds an oat every now and then."
