Hey Guys
I'm looking for some cool, unusual aftermarket pipes.  I've got a set of Corsa 6>6's but i've read here that they cost about 6hp and i'd prefer a lower more growly (?) sound.   Looking for something fat that turns down and out inline with the rear axle.

Only had my Valkyrie about two months and this is my first streetable bike but I'm HOOKED and have found this site to be invaluable!
Thanks

Now this may sound like heresy at first......

.... but has anyone ever rigged a Valkyrie with "powerbike" pipes like Yoshimuras or so?

Before you let all the boo and hiss go, the reason for me asking is that I have a pair of Yoshimuras hanging about and cannot help wondering what would they sound like on Sigrún Valkyrie. I do know for a fact they do sound wicked cool when slapped on a Blackbird or something similar......

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

As someone mentioned previously, MarkT's glaspaks will give you adjustable sound if you get the trombones and/or silencers.

I've had mine for 10 or 11 years now and have only used the trombones twice.  The pipes sound so good as is.

Enjoy the bike...

I'd say that you already have an unusual set of pipes,, I've never heard of Corsa.. They must be really rare..  Grin

Okay..............my inaugural beating!!  lol Grin
yes, Corsa means Cobra in the bike world.  Still transitioning from the boat world.

Would probably sell the 6>6's but didn't want to mention that on the "non-classified" board.
any suggestions on what they're worth?  Bike only has 18k miles so i suppose the COBRAs only had a couple of thousand on them.  Also have a (used) jet kit to be included.

I'm gonna call Mark tomorrow.  I kinda dig the Bugles

I have a brand new set of Jardine Slash Cut available.  These are shorter and are inline with the rear axle like you are looking for.  PM me if interested.
