I met Brian last summer at Inzane. I did not spend much time with him.

Last week Carolyn and I rode down to stay a night with Mrs. Old Skool and Cowbell before the Gettysburg ride.

Brian who was a very good friend of Mr. Old Skool took the day off and drove over 50 miles one way to meet Carolyn and I.
He then took us on a short cut to Rhonda's home. Then he proceeded to pick Noah up from school so we could have sometime with Rhonda.

That night Brian and his wife Thelma met us for pizza at a local establishment which was excellant.

The next day he graciously decided to ride with Carolyn and I on some fine West Virginia backroads up to Gettysburg.

Wow he can ride, I was dumbfounded as we rode through the twisties and he didn't touch his brakes.

I spent some time talking to Brian. I understand why Steve, Rhonda's husband liked him so much.

Brian I hope to catch some wind  with you again someday, you define a True Gentleman my friend.

I think I should have no other mortal wants, if I could always have plenty of music. It seems to infuse strength into my limbs and ideas into my brain. Life seems to go on without effort, when I am filled with music.

A classic Valk story.
Thanks Pat for sharing.
I have not met Brian, but I met you and Carolyn in Paducah and have traded a few emails since.  You are both good decent people.  Are you coming to Frisco?  I hope so!

Brian,

Thank you for everything you did for Patrick and I over the past weekend. Like I said earlier today, you're a good man Brian Nicely.

Are you an organ, tissue and eye donor for your state? Did you know one person can save or enhance the lives of up to 75 people. The # of people waiting for organs in the US would overflow the University of Michigan football stadium. It's the biggest in the country. Will seat over 109,000.

Brian has had a hard year as well. Him and Steve were as close as brothers and he has grieved with us. He's been there for us anyime we needed him.
