I know this is a "dumb as hell" question, but I'm kind of a Valk newbe and am having trouble finding the size of socket to purchase to remove plugs - I think it's a 17mm but not sure?  Didn't get any tools with the bike.

Thanks.

+1 make sure it's the spark plug socket, they have other 18mm sockets.

Your tool kit should have one in it. But like you, I bought a Craftsman.

I bought one from sears - works perfect.  thanks everyone foe the advise - especially on making sure I got the thin walled one (probably would have screwed that one up).

I used a craftsman 11/16 6 pt deep socket for years until I got an 18mm socket.  The 11/16 actually fit better, but I've heard that not all brands will work.  It depends on the mfg tolerances.
