Reading this post is very impressive to me.  When I sold the Valk it had low mileage on it.  I'm sure that L'll D is making up for that.

I'm definitively not setting any record for miles on the Vstrom that I have now.  However, I do have a few miles (years) on this old chassis that I have to wake up to each morning.

We do have an amazing number of long riders here.  I hope that we'll have a lot more before the final Valk goes riding off in the sunset. cooldude

For those who don't know, I update the list at the top of this thread.  When I originally created the post I intended to only keep track of Valkyries over 100,000 miles. Based in the responses we received I chose to lower that limit to 60,000 miles.

When you started this post I had 102,000 miles on my 99 standard.     I now have 114,000 miles on it.
Not as many miles as last year but still had some nice rides and the year is not over. Smiley

I'm dreaming of an 1800 ci & reverse, also fuel injection, and about 1/2 of the plastic currently on them I/S with a car tire.       LOL on the CT.

My 44 Harley ServiCar I have in the garage has 3 CT on it.    That is the way HD built them back in 44.

I've had my '97 yellow and black (or black and yellow, lol) since 2 months before the last Inzane in Kentucky, which was my first Inzane. It had 18,000 and some change on it when I bought it, and it now has 63,258. Not a lot of miles for the time I have had it, but I don't drive it to work every day. And there are a lot of weekends that I don't get to ride. The miles I have put on my bike are mostly from my trips to Inzane, and Americade once. And the one time I had 3 weeks and we did 11 states, Inzane in MI, and a little bit (very little) of Canada. I am hoping to improve on the amount of miles I put on her, once I retire, which will be on the 30th of September of this year. At least those are mt plans. Time, and money laugh, will tell.

when I bought my valk new in April of 97' I had no idea what these machines were capable of , they had just came out . I just liked the styling and had an 81' GW that was super smooth . I had always wanted a HD but you couldn't buy 1 then off the showroom and the GW was so smooth that the Valk was the natural choice ,I have never regretted it and know of at least 4 people that bought a valk because of mine . It does seem to be the "superbike" that legends are made of . Even VTX riders aren't as dedicated .If you can see past the HD glam , you have found the best of all worlds . I had hoped to bust 100K this yr but remodeling my new house nipped that in the bud !
