Was just wondering if anyone had a set of Calvary Fiberglass Saddlebags, and what they thought of them. Cheesy

If you like that style of bag you might want to look at Tsukayu also, $200 less. I just installed a set of their leather strongs and quite happ with the result. IMO they are of higher quality than OEM saddlebags that were sold by Honda for the Valkyrie.

Thanks for the info. Do these bags come with all the holes pre-drilled or do you have to drill mounting holes. Do you have any pics of your bike with bags installed??????

The saddlebags I purchased were not bike specific. So I had to drill the holes which was not that difficult. This way I was able to get their position just the way I wanted them to look. They don't sell a bike specific saddlebag for the Valk. The Tsukayu mounts are very solid.

Save, scrimp, sell off unwanted stuff, whatever it takes to save the money up for a complete OEM hardbag set up. There are lots of high quality aftermarket hardbags available that none of which have the tip over guards that OE bags have. At least as far as I know.
I gave those same bags a hard look at also until I decided to go OEM.

My 2 cents worth.

I have $1400 in this Standard to Tourer hardbag upgrade. I couldn't be happier!

I would say save your money, watch the VRCC classifieds, and ebay. There are no substitutes for the real Honda hard bags. The mounts are rock solid. I had a couple other brands, and they were alright for a 1/3 the cost but the still didn't stack up.
I finally run across a set of OEM's on the classifieds. I gave $600 for the bags, had a local body shop paint them, $200. I could not be happier.

I love my Mustang bags.   cooldude

The even make a very nice matching trunk now (my trunk is a Harley trunk, but if they would have had the Mustang trunk available when I needed a trunk, I'd have bought the Mustang trunk instead).....

Or do what a "friend" of mine did. Find a race-horse deal on a higher mileage Tourer the same color as yours, remove the bags and replace any dinged tins you may have, ride the "standard" for 1-1/2 years and then sell it for $100 less than you gave for it  Lips Sealed
