A friend emailed me this pic of my old bike that he took while we were on a trip in Arkansas. I miss that bike. Wish I'd kept it. What bike do y'all regret getting rid of?

If I get my way, my Valk will have a similar theme soon.

I had to let insurance total my Yamaha Road Star after I bent frame in a freak slow moving accident.
Spent a lot of time, work, and money tricking it out just like I wanted.

2002 Shadow Spirit 750.  It was a fun, good looking bike.

I got my rusty loud eBay Valkyrie from Philadelphia...

It was a nice evening the day that the buyer of my other bike came to pick it up.
It wasn't quite dark yet when he rode off down the driveway on it, lights on. It was a
cool bike. I was kind of sorry to see it drive off that last time...

It's objecting to the double-stick tape holding it in place.

You just can't please a cat.

I have fond memories of a time about 20 years ago - I had a 1983 CB 1000 Custom. One trip my cousin and I wandered south down the Mississippi on our bikes with our guitars... a great time.

In this pic, we stopped at Balltown Iowa to take in the view.. the highest point in Iowa overlooking the Mississippi... back when I didn't have all the stresses and obligations and mortgages, etc...

Kinda miss my 750.  I bought it new, but of course, was unable to leave it stock.

You'll probably notice that BLACK was the fastest color back then too  cooldude

Much faster and a lot more comfortable than my sportster  Smiley

the only bike i can remember missing, because my #%@# cousin parked it in front of a giant combine after he begged me to let him ride it, (he was several years older than me) and it was run over...was my honda z50 trail bike.  Cry i loved that thing....a gift from my dad when i was 9....

That certainly didn't help, but the 13 months and 13K miles before that outweigh the way it was gotten rid of...   Sad tickedoff

I would like to have another one at some point.   Cool

And THIS one is (similar to) what started it all for me back in 1957!

I rescued a cushman from my neighbors garage which was on its way to the dump.

He told me it ran but had lotsa problems and his son had gotten a motorbike and didn't want it anymore.  Shocked

WOW.  I was going to be an "Independent Man" with my own gasoline powered vehicle!!  cooldude

A couple of coats of paint and a little work on the push/pull throttle cable was all it needed to get me hooked on two-wheelers. .  .    for life   Cool
