Just passing on a bit of hard won information.... The top tree is hard anodized,,,, so if you try to spot sand and polish any corrosion off, it makes a mess. Once you start, the only option is doing every mm, and the anodizing is a mil or two deep!! It took three grades of wet sandpaper  and time on the buffing wheel,,, three or four hours for me!!! I was not ready for that,, good thing there is a tube in the shop, and there was a copy of Giant to watch.

It does polish up nice doesn't it.............
I had mine done.
