It wouldn't be fair to post an old pic of me and my Valk as I don't have it any more.

Here is the latest. I seem to be still welcome here but my long rides are over and I won't trailer.
I don't believe that I'll make Inzane but we'll see.

solo1

Here's an older pic of RJ and me at a CBR some years ago.  I hope that he can make this Inzane.

R J

Sorry Wayne, will not make InZane this year or any in the future.

O2 requirements are to restrictive for me to even try.    I have tried for several years now, and I can't even get enough equipment together to make the GOTF's.

I'm pretty much a 150 mile radius from home boy now.

You gotta believe!  8)

I believe that "Strom" of yours would like to go!! I believe you could make it a two or three day ride down. Take your time, maybe bring a riding buddy along so your not "Solo"  ;).

Last summer I rode about 5000 kms \ 3100 mi's with a couple of buddies, one on a 650 "V Strom" and believe me, the "Strom" was amazing and had fantastic gas mileage!

If you can't, you can't ............ but like you say, you been here for some time now, I'm sure there are folks that would love to see you and I'd like to meet you! Really enjoy reading your posts!  :cooldude:

Valkorada I have been to Gunnison Co. And it is beautiful. My wife's grand father when he was still living had an RV and he and a bunch of his cronies used to spent most of the summer in that area and they held a family reunion out there and we spent about 4 days and loved it.

Thanks, I love it here.  It's beautiful alright, and some of the best riding anywhere -- about six months out of the year.

RJ, I'm not sure if you said that in jest or were serious... To answer that, there's a "little" smile. The bike is the star of the show. I'm just a "supporting actor".  Take care. I hope to make it your way to see you sometime this year!

I think you'll still be on the correct side of the grass....while God's deciding how big of a spread you get up there. ;)
I'll gladly let you know, but it'll probably be a one day trip there and back. You won't have to go through any trouble on my account.

Great idea Willow. The same thing over on the Goldwing site I belong to.

Although putting a face together with a handle may work for most. I'm afraid my photos, except the one with my beautiful wife, may scare most away from being within 100 feet of me!  8)

I have worked in the offshore petroleum industry for almost 30 years, starting as a Commercial Diver for 5 years and in the wheelhouse as Captain since then. Except for a few years on the beach while raising my 2 daughters. Currently I am Master of an Anchor Handling Tug & Supply Vessel based in Vitoria, Brazil. My wife, Ruth and I, have 2 daughters (Joselin and Lizzie) and the boss of the house, grandbaby, Ariana.

And yes the 'fro is real.

This thread deserves to have a little new blood injected. A lot has changed in over 3 years and even more since the thread was started. Some participants are no longer with us, it was like a stroll down memory lane reviewing all the posts.

I personally don't have much to ad as my ride sits unridden for years waiting for me to give her the needed attention and once again feel the wind.
