I am new to the board but have a 98 valk (63000 miles) and need a set of dampers also, I hope it is not to late to order. I would hate have to give money to the Honda dealer for an inferior product. Can you let me know where to send the money?

The lower shock bushings on Valks have a steel sleeve in them that slows the wear considerably. I started out just selling bushings in pairs- 2 parts at a time. This way you could just replace the worn parts. VTX's wear all four positions. They almost always buy 4 parts at a time. To All: If you've sent me an e-mail, and I replied that I'd notify you when parts are ready, that's what will happen. If you put a reply here, I read it, but you won't get an e-mail. I'll just put a notice up in this thread that dampers are ready. As Bartles and James used to say: Thanks for your support! |

I ordered two sets which are now both installed (with new darkside GTTs on each bike). Both seem to be working perfectly, and I believe this is a lifetime upgrade..... or certainly longer than OE 25-30K. Tight fit, no slop.
