There seems to be loosely knitted group of some of the Horn Toad Riders and a few riders on the Naked Goldwing forum that are going to be meeting in Luling to eat at City market between 11 and 11:30 AM Saturday April 27, 2013.

Drifter, Saralou and Danny will be coming up from Corpus, Tracy and Debbie will be riding down from Austin...

So... if anyone feels like riding Saturday let's do it!

And just where is the City Market?

Might try to ride out.

Just get off the interstate at Bucees... turn right (the other way from Bucees.)  Tool on into town... when you get to the big intersection (hwy 183) turn right again cross the railroad tracks and IMMEADIATELY turn left.  You're there...

I am rather glad that I decided against making that run yesterday.  I was on the bike and went and had breakfast with the wife and after getting on the road just decided that I would head back home.

A 'frog strangler' hit my part of town.  From about 4:30 until a little after 5:00 I even had golf ball size hail.  Somewhere between 4 and 7 inches in a couple of hours in my area.  Front lawn was pure white with the hail sitting on it.  My wife's car can now be called a 'dimpled darling'.  I have one dead dove and another blue jay that did not make it through the storm.  Broken windshield trim on my Jimmy and one broken window on the house.  Probably going to end up with a new roof when all is said and done.

Rough afternoon and glad I was not riding home in it.

Sounds like a reasonable choice...
