Anyone have experience with Saddelman seats. I'm corresponding with a first time poster who is selling one for an I/S. Seems like a good deal.

Wish I could give you some help there, but that is about the only seat I have not used. OEM on 99 Interstate did not cut it. Corbin was great except on long rides, it sits a little lower and makes you feel like part of the bike. Diamond was way too high. I have Ultimate King Big Boy now, much better. Have not tried Saddleman or Russel Day Long. My wife has a Mustang on her standard and likes it, although it is a bit high for me.

Thanks Thunderbolt, I've used the Mustang seat on a VTX for about 30k miles and liked it. Just haven't talked to anyone who used the Saddleman brand.

I have not used a Saddleman. I have used the Diamond Custom Seats since the early 80's. I have found them to be excellant and comfortable.
They are made here in Florida.

I had a Saddleman Gel seat on my 99 Interstate, I liked it....My wife did not. The seat was very comfortable for local riding (150-200 miles) but I never tried it on a long trip.
My wife had problems with the drivers backrest it was too high, got in her way.

Thank you all for the feed back. So many seats to choose from and so little time.
