The Honda part numbers for the 55 Amp Alternator fuse is 98200-65500 and 98200-33000 for the 30 Amp Main Fuse.  Both are $2.50 each at HDLPARTS.COM.  I'd hate to have to pay $7.50 shipping just to get these online.  Are there generic fuses available at the local auto parts store?

Can't remember for sure but I believe that I have seen similar looking fuses at the NAPA store. You might take one in and compare, depends on how helpful your local store sales people are.

Thrud, I just went to search and found numerous threads concerning the fuses, and the replies were that some cars also use these fuses and are readily available at most auto parts stores.

I totally agree Farther. I buy ALL OEM parts from my Dealer. By the time shipping is figured in, I'm usually with in just a couple of bucks of online shopping. I even get my tires at the Honda Dealer. They are usually only about $10 per tire higher than internet.

ALL my small orders go thru my dealer cause it comes in with their stuff and I DO NOT get charged for shipping. And my dealer has been known to price match from time to time. RIDE SAFE.

the 55 amp fuse is available at most auto parts stores...it's the same fuse used on early Honda Civics and a few others.  Autozone, NAPA, or Pep boys ought to be able to match it up for you.  That's where I found my spares and they were a lot cheaper than the attached ebay link.

this link lists the cars that they fit for reference when you go to the auto store.

Thrud, try Shawnee Cycle Plaza.  On small parts their prices tend to be pretty good.

Yes your NAPA should have them in stock.   They cross over to automotive use.
