I have a 2003 Valkyrie standard which are needing both front & rear pads I called up my local honda shop which i have had nothing but crappy help from. Kids running the counter that dont know nothing! I asked a price for front breaks & they quoted me 106.00 for just the front & i told them i didn't want them to put em on- that i will & they said thats the price for just the pads. Ok, can anyone tell me where i can get a better deal? thanks.

There are other places, but BikeBandit.com has them for $44 per set. Front requires two sets.

Plus one. Go to the HDL sight, print out the parts illustration with the parts list & price (it all prints together) then take it back to your local dealer & see if he will match. I have 2 dealers, Ride Now in Ocala & Champions in Leesburg/Eustis that will match prices. If yours won't, add 'em to your cart & pay!

+1 on what John said. HDL is the place for OEM and is your safest bet.

Always use OEM pads on OEM rotors. I used EBC brake pads when I first got my Valk from my brother and they ate through the rotors in about 2 years. I replaced them with rotors from an 1800 Wing and put OEM pads back on them and never looked back. Ronayers.com is where I buy my parts from and they are the same price as HDL on the front pads. $36.57. Rear pads are $22.01. Hay Jimmyt

That's why "stealers" eventually go bust.

$36.30 from http://www.servicehonda.com/ and no small order service charge but their shipping is high at about $15 for four pads to my residential zip code. These days they have a better reputation for customer service and speedy shipping than Honda Direct Line.
