Not a true member of the Valk Riders as of yet. This bike has truly caught my eye and I have been looking here and through Cycle Trader. My biggest concern is that I have not had an opportunity to mount one these Beauties. I am only 5'8" and have a 30" inseam tickedoff. Is this a possibility for me to ride a Valkyrie? I have owned V-Twins in the past but would love to move to the Flat 6 without going to a Wing. I know Ultimate makes the Lowrider that drops the rider about an inch.
I would appreciate any feedback you can offer.

Welcome to the family.  My name is AkNickster from Alaska.  I have been riding my Valk since the summer of 2006.  I love it.  I am 5'9" and have a 30 in seam too.  i weigh in at a whole woppin 150 pounds.  This bike was meant for me.  The power is awsome and it handles like a dream.  I dont think you need to worry about your height at all.
I leave next Friday the 10th of july to head from alaska to colorado for inzane 9. cant wait to see everyone.
Ride safe

AKNickster - Thanks for the feedback. They are just an awesome looking bike and after reading all the articles, comments and even comments from other forums (VTXOA), this seems to be the ultimate in cruisers. A darn shame they don't make this style any longer.
Have a safe trip and again, thanks for the feedback!

I too will say it is an awesome bike and you should have no concerns on your size.

I am 5'8" and have a 29" inseam and weigh about 230.  I have no trouble with the stock seat on my 2000 Interstate.  I have had the bike just over 2 years and have put 45,000 miles on it.

Get one soon.  Let's RIDE!!!!

I'm 68" with a 30" inseam.  I do ride with the Ultimate Lowboy, but I can also easily ride with the stock seat.

You'll be fine.  Enjoy the ride.

Greetings! I'm 5'2". I have the Tourer. My hubby put 11.5" progressive shocks on the rear and all my favorite guys dropped the front end (forks) while in New Mexico. I can flat-foot on flat ground. You can get plenty of tech support on the board. You won't be sorry when you get the Valk. I thought I'd NEVER get rid of my Harley..... never say never! Welcome aboard!

Thank you to all who have responded cooldude My better half is the other reason I want to go with the Valkyrie. She is somewhat sensitive to vibrations so on the VtX we had, we actually went with the grab-bar style backrest on the bike. She loved to ride with me so I figure that the flat 6 is as smooth as they come while the Valk still has the looks of a power cruiser. I hope to be posting a pic one of these days. In the mean time, thanks one and all for the imput!

:)Wolfin, I too got a Valk one because I always wanted one and also the wife suffers from CFS and vibrations are not good for someone with this illness. She now rides pretty much anywhere I go except when I ride it to work. Upgrade the seats when you get a chance, and floorboards seemed to help comfort level for the passenger also.

Wolfin:
We are 5'7" and a hearty 150lbs (wet).  The Valk is a bit wide and heavy to push around the garage, but we think the bars and peg placement make it very comfortable for shorter riders once it is in motion.  If it is smoooooth power and comfort that you desire in a motorcycle, we think you will not be disappointed with an F-6 Valkyrie.

We trudge on.

just shy of 5' 8"; woman - so i don't have the upper body strength of the guys; i have the ultimate lowboy on; before that a corbin; i'm flatfoot with both those seats.  No problems handling it - I do make sure that i don't get myself in parking spots where i'd have to bully it...but, otherwise aok.  go for it!
