I believe mine is, "I can fix the crack of dawn if I have enough bungee cords."

If you need to read up a bit to decide go here: http://lifeisaroad.com/

Daniel will be at InZane in Colorado.  I'm sure he will happily personally autograph your book purchases.

You know, while I was looking for that pic I came across another.  What do you think looks better Willow and famous author or Willow and anonymous medical professional?

Or just Willow and more Willow?

Oh, back to the original question.  What is your favorite Daniel Meyer quote?

My favorite quote... "Uh oh..."

The context...well...that's another story...

Thanks for the thread! Inzane should be a blast...there's not much better riding on the planet...

Ummm...okay...I give up...just where the heck were we in that picture?

Wasn't from one of his books, and I'm not sure I remember the exact words right, but close enough... Shows what kinda a guy he is...

Many years ago I had a backreset and no back seat on my Valk... Not a good idea in hind sight...

Romped the gas, and next thing I know I was looking straight up... Uhoh... With the back seat missing (Which acts as a structural support for the backrest) my substantial weight collapsed the rear fender right behind the backrest straight down, crumpled it all up...

Went to Honda, they wanted something like $800 for an unpainted replacement piece... Ouch...

Posted about my quandry... Got a call from Danial...

"We can fix that easy"...

And he did... I say we, and I "helped" but realistically I kept him company while he worked his magic... Pulled the rear end apart, beat the fender back into shape, and then welded some 1/4" steel plate on the underside to hold everything in place...

And all that cost me a BBQ dinner (I took one look at Danial and got smart... We went to an All you can eat place!)...

That was prolly 5 years and 50,000 miles ago, and that fix is still going strong!

Thanks again Daniel!

My favorite...

"The Valkyrie screamed in ecstasy. I screamed in…well…I just plain screamed."

I had tears rolling down my face reading that story... and that was YEARS before I ever bought the Valk and learned who Daniel was.

Needless to say, finding the real author after years of telling people about this story is quite an interesting feeling... and then finding out he was a fellow VRCC guy was even better!

Hey Daniel... Thanks for the books and the signatures... They have brought me lots of good reading time, and I plan on getting a couple of your other books soon!!
