I'm not even going to bother opening and viewing the link.  He's driven this State (CA) into the ground.
His lack of fiscal responsibility has cost me 15% of my wages.  The first year in the last nine that I had the annual gathering of Valks in my sights, and he takes that opportunity away to pay for cops, corrections, welfare and illegals.
Not a fan of Awnuld.  I guess that makes it political.  So what.   Angry

It's about his early body building years.

I guess some people can piss and moan about anything at any time.

. . . "some people" equates to many thousands who are trying to meet obligations.  What he lacks in brains he used to make up for in brawn.

caveat:  I don't live in CA and i don't keep track of all the politics out there........i live in Redneck Alabama......

NOW, THAT SAID....as an avid weight lifter.....of COURSE...i've tracked parts of Arnold's life. And, say what you will....AND I AM NOT ADDRESSING HIS CAPABILITIES OR SHORTFALLS...as a politician.

But what does impress me...is not only his work ethic, will, and desire in the bodybuilding world....which of course is LEGENDARY. BUT.....that EARLY in life...he said his goal was to win a bunch of MAJOR body building championships...be the best in the world at his sport....go on to become an actor....and later 'maybe' go into politics. He predicted/stated all of that EARLY on. and he went on to ACCOMPLISH that.

say what you will about his poltical or acting capabilities....BUT.....HOW MANY OTHER PEOPLE....can state such HIGH and LOFTY goals....early in life....AND THEN MOST IMPRESSIVELY....go out and actually accomplish them???????

Yea, that's what i'm talking about. I still read Muscle and Fitness religiously....as i pump iron religiously (at 53 years old). And, every issue has a "how to"  article written by Arnold. I read them with keen interest. SOME of his accomplishments, are truly inspiring to me.............

AGAIN, FOR ME, THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL STATEMENT OF ANY KIND.....I'm talking about accomplishments....and about goals....and yes, about body building ....which i still follow quite a bit...........

I am neither a fan or a hater of Arnold but I have to say that this move he is doing did impress me. WHY? California is 15 billion in debt has not happened overnight, Arnold is not the sole creator of this debt many politicians before and the current economy are the culprit. But what he does have is something that Washington needs to learn, not to pass the buck down to future generations. He could have done what every politician does and borrowed, taxed or just plain scammed his way out of the current mess. But isn't that what we said we didn't want? I do feel sorry for the people that are having a hard time and not only in California but I am impressed that one guy has the balls to do what is right at least for the economy. Now some of his other decisions, well thats up to the politics of the situation.
