After the cookout Sunday evening at Inzane, I had several people asking for my Jalapeno Baked Beans recipe, so here it is!

Motomama's Jalapeno Baked Beans

     2 cans pork n beans
2 cans ranch style pinto beans with jalapenos
     1 diced yellow onion
20 little smokies cut in to small pieces.
1 cup KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce
     3/4 cup brown sugar
     3 Tablespoons mustard
2 diced jalapenos with seeds (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Combine all ingredients in an oven safe casserole dish and bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours uncovered.  They thicken as they cook.  (If you do not have ranch beans with jalapenos available, substitute pinto beans and add a couple diced jalapenos.)  You may add more jalapenos to spice it up!

One small correction on the recipe.

The word, optional, where it appears means that ingredient may be doubled or tripled at the makers option.

I'm like you Michael. Going to start a search for all the needed ingredients.
I didn't have the pleasure of a first hand experience, but will still try them without the love of the Mama baked in.
Meals are always better when your Mama had something to do with the cooking of them. Smiley

One question.  What size are those cans of beans you suggest?

They're standard sized cans.  They will measure about 15 ounces.
