I can not remember my last bad day

I have bought the NOS Valk that has made very few appearances over the years from Springfield MO. Genes Gallery helped tremendously in the deal and I thank them for it. Especially as I have had questions and some concerns, they and the previous owner have been more than helpful. They are a class act.

Here are some specifics about the bike. The engine has been built with forged ceramic coated pistons and forged rods, about twice has heavy as the oems. The supercharger is pumping about 30psi into the motor at full throttle with 4 meth injectors to help keep it cool. Along with the current nos shot the bike is right around 225hp. I am told that with the parger of the jets I was given I can be up top about 300. Bike is as solid as  rock with a bit of blow by from the breather when run a little on the hard side, we are looking into that no. There is a goldwing 130 from tire and a 200vr rear bike tire. I am considering going to the darkside over the winter. She has an auot MSD distributor that is run off a belt fro the can two brothers racing made on the right side of the motor. MSD ignition.

There is much to share. I am inviting anyone that wants to see, hear, and maybe ride the bike to Milan Dragway on Aug 10th beginning at 3p. There is a Harley at the Drag Way day and metrics are welcome. We are going to see if we can eat some Harleys for dinner! I may also take my other supercharged bike that I am selling out there. It is only 10 bucks to get it. I understand that there are going to be some vendors and other things to do.

With 30 psi, you twist the wick hard, you might blow the unmodified heads off, or smoke the valves.

I'd like to see a video of you riding it, and crack that puppy open, see just how fast it is.
Also like to see your fuel consumption. Must be thirsty.

After reading about jeffk having trouble with cooling his s-charged bike, I wonder if yours
will also have a heat problem.

Congrats, Mike. That is one beautiful Valkyrie! It sounds like it's a BEAST!

If you make it to the Dragstrip, I hope you have somebody get some videos! It should be fun.

I'm glad you're still going to be around in some capacity!

Gig, The bike is at Nicks right now waiting for a rear tire so it is close to you, go on up and see it. I am on 12 hour shifts now and do not get home till 730.

As far as the heating issue goes, that was one of the first questions I asked about a long time ago on this bike. He said that he did have that problem until he put in the 4 methanol injectors. I am told it has not been an issue yet. The one day we had it out and ran it a little bit hard the temp got to about 235. I am ok with that so long as the methanol tank does not get empty while riding. I will fill it up each time it goes out. I am not at all concerned about the fuel consumption. I do not plan on taking this bike on trips. It will be ridden around town. And that is only after I am able to get rid of these cobwebs I still have from my accident last year. I assure you that after you crack this throttle a couple times fuel consumption is tha last thing you are thinking about.

It was there for a few minutes anyway... I should've checked it out up close before it disappeared.

What a machine!!!!  Mike, you are the man.   cooldude

When you call the ins co, just tell them it is 19XX Valk with some chrome on it.  With full disclosure, I bet no one will want to cover it.  Course it will then not be covered for true replacement value.  I could be wrong.

I think I seen it at Wing Ding in Knoxville a couple years ago. SWEET bike. I asked the guy about going with a car tire and he said "He'd never do it".

Notice in this picture how the flutes on the valve cover have been ground off and the valve cover rechromed. Both sides are like this. Seems to me that something ought to be there. Some sort of emblem or sticker. Any ideas? I am thinking of having VALKYRIE somehow inscribed them painted or something. Maybe the new slogan should be "Catch me if you can"

If anyone would like to see it start it or even talk me into riding it. Get in touch with me. If it were not for the loyal support of all of you I could not have ever owned this. It would be selfish of me not to share.
