When: October 18-20th Ride is October 19, 2013 Ground Zero Hotel: Eldon Inn 200 U.S. 54 Business Eldon, MO 573-392-5664 www.eldoninn.comYou can make your reservations by calling or online. Mention that you are with the VRCC group (you can put it in the comment box on the online reservations). Rate: Single Queen Room - $45 Double Queen Room - $55 The hotel does not provide breakfast so we will meet up at a cafe in town for breakfast. Route: Winding our way around Lake of the Ozarks for about 115 miles. The route is at his link: Missouri Fall Colors Ride 2013Lunch will be at the Willowes Bar and GrillWe will plan to have stands up at 10:00 am. That should put us at Willowes around 11:30-12pm. This will also give the people that are not staying at ground zero a chance to get there for the start of the ride. (It is about 3 hrs from St. Louis and Kansas City.) I'm a total new guy to Valks.. But, I've been on bikes a while, and covered many miles. Always wanted one, and finally got it done (bought one) a week ago. I will try to make this ride. I may end up getting up early, and riding down just to spend the day riding along.. Hope that's ok. Jeff I bought this bike from a guy in Cuba Mo, I'm the 4th owner, so I imagine you've seen the bike before..  |

I was hoping to tie this into a trip back to KS but, the planets just aren't lining up. No doubt this will be a well planned and executed ride. Joe puts a lot of effort into getting it done right. Looks like we are going to have a great turn-out for this ride. If anyone is on the fence...they had better make their reservations soon.
Long range weather says it is going to be a high of 60 on the 19th. So make sure you bring the right gear. We should be riding in the best part of the day and be able to enjoy some great temps.
You don't want to miss out on this ride!!!

Great looking bike Mizzou. Many miles and smiles were had from the saddle.
