When I went to put my front end back together, I found that there is no threaded part on the inside of the fender that the bolts holding the fender in place on the fork screws in to. Didn't see anything on the fiche; does anyone have an idea what I can use? Thanks for your thoughts!

Karen,

There should be welded nuts on the inside of the fender for the bolts to attach to.

I had to remove one on a bike that was left outside for a few years and the bolt wouldn't come out.  I used a new bolt, 6x32 I think, and added a 6 mil nut.

Good luck.

Thanks, Bill, guess I'll have to do what you did; there's no threads in what's left there (big hole), but not enough bolt gets through the hole to catch the threads on an additional nut, which could possibly stick out too far & catch the tire. Was hoping not to have to pull the fender again. Thanks again, it was exactly what I needed to know!
