NOT a Valkyrie question BUT still a question

Got a friend of mine that has an 05 V T 600 Honda. He does NOT have a manual yet and here be the question. Is it the 2 bolts at the back of the seat that needs to be removed to remove the seat AND is there a key lock up front similar to how we remove the Valkyrie seat?? I have NOT looked at this M/C yet just the seat breakdown at H D L. He WILL be in my shop 2moro afternoon and I just thought i'd throw this out there on our board. And as always-T I A. RIDE SAFE.

Don't know about a VT600, but the VLX 600 was just bolts to remove seat, no key (98% certain, that bike has been gone for many years).

we have in the stable a 03 vt 750 on that one you take the 10 mm acorn nut off the back fender then push the passenger seat forward it separates from the drivers seat then there is a bolt to remove that one.

My brother's 99 has two allen head bolts under the sides of the driver seat.easy to get out with a long ball tip socket.there are two extended bolts under the passenger seat that you slide the seat the rear(I think) to remove.
