To all those that have served, Thank You does not say enough! Your sacrifices in the name of freedom are more than appreciated! Got any service photos to share, anyone?

Here is a good video I found and thought you all may enjoy it.  It is related to Veterans Day based on a true incident.

F6F Hellcat. Mostly off carrier decks. Invaded the Gilbert Islands and Marshall Islands in '43 from the carrier deck of the USS Enterprise. 1944 found him on the USS Hornet in such real estate as  New Guinea, Turk Islands, Guam, lots of islands in the Philippines. His flight log makes for some interesting places to Google. Active '41-'54 and retired in the reserve program in '65.

Still a chick magnet, even if they are his grands! My daughter and granddawg, camera right.

Jeff,

That is cool.  You should bring him to the airport sometime.  Tell him I said "Thanks" for all he has done for our country.

In the pictures from left to right is retired Brig. General James McPartlin, Ras, and Jim Barron my father.  I took this picture at the "Welcome Home Troops" at DFW Airport terminal B.
