I've just been reminded that the Southern Cruisers are holding their National rally in Kerrville that weekend, so I assume we should be seeing a fair number of out-of-state bikes while we're there.

I'm sure most of them will be on the Three Sisters.   I wasn't planning on riding them this year anyway.  Going to Harvest Classic.

Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of remembering to show some good Texas hospitality (and respect) to the visitors.

Not everything is about "us" and "them"

I wasn't making it an "us" and "them" thing about it as to someone else's perspective, "we" are a "them".  Me along with many others I know in the VRCC are also active members in other clubs and I know at least 1 who is a member of the Southern Cruisers.  I've met some great people on all kinds of bikes on our bike trips everywhere we go.  I was voicing my concern about traffic.

I should have been more clear ... it was the "broken down Harley" comment I was thinking of.

Traffic out there is always busy if the weather is nice.

This year, I get to come out Friday and STAY TILL SUNDAY!  Last few years I've had to head back to Houston on Saturday morning.

Well crap.  Now I have to change the weekend.  Having the two of us in such close proximity is only allowed for one day per year.  Two days, especially two consecutive days, may cause all sorts of unforeseen consequences.

Just take different routes on Saturday - that should prevent the anti-matter/matter 'end of the universe' event you are attempting to avoid.

If that will work, we should be safe .... I don't do the group ride anyway!!!  Nothing personal, I'm just not comfortable in groups.
