Wind Deflector

I have a Valkyrie 2001 with a Memphis Fats windshield, but I'm getting a lot of wind, just under my handlebar handgrips about mid way up from my gas tank. Any suggestions? Not bad, but I run the interstate a lot so at 65-75mph my helmet pulls back and strap chokes me a little.

Memphis shades has the lowers. I have the batwing with lowers on a 2002 Valk Standard and they work great. Should also work with the fats windshield. On a Harley Softail, I had the same problem with wind coming up from below and lifting the helmet. The lowers cured it.
You might also check out Rifle lowers. They look pretty clean and well built.

Bakers didn't cure the air coming up and over the tank hitting me in the chest. Adding lowers along with the Bakers did stop it.

Lowers didn't help me much with wind coming up the side of the gas tank & lifting my helmet but the Baker Airwings certainly cured it.

The fork deflectors do wonders for this...even without a windshield.

If you had the OEM shield, here's a tip. Tilt the shield back by moving the lower mount out an inch.
