Illinois

Been a long time since I've posted. I do read the boards regularly though!  Smiley

Cheryl decided to try learning to ride again and get her license so she can take over the Boss Hoss trike!

Riding home from dinner one evening a few weeks ago, we stumbled on this little beauty...1990 Yamaha XV250 Route 66 for $800:

Brought her (err...him...) home behind the Valk!  Cool

So...we then go to the DMV to get registration and pick up motorcycle handbook for Cheryl to study up...and in the process discover that Illinois has changed the license requirements and you can now take a trike/sidecar test for a "J" designation (three-wheels only)! So now she technically doesn't need the Route 66 to practice on! But it's so cute and fun to ride we may just keep him (she named it "Rudy")...we've already had a couple offers for more than we paid! Someone told us the pearl white is quite rare with around 500 made. Don't know about that, but for now though, he is part of the fleet.  coolsmiley
