I have two tires coming in later this week. Anyone have advice about your experience with tire installers, good or bad, around Indianapolis? Thanks in advance.  cooldude cooldude cooldude

Are you going to take the wheels off and have someone swap tires? or do you want to take the bike somewhere and have them do it all?

No suggestions as I've done them myself.  If you want to try it yourself, you can find some help on the southside: Jabba, Squealy, me.

Yep...

You might try Cycyle Outfitters on the southside (Madison Ave) the might do it, but they are going to be expensive....

Cycle Outfitters will do it. Least expensive option vs dealers who only install tires they sell.

I do maintenance type items myself. I don't have items I would need to change out the tires such as a lift, tire tools, bigger compressor and balancing ability. Really just looking for a competent shop that can do a good job.

Squealy and Cattman I just called Cycle Outfitters and they said $65 for front, $75 for rear, plus disposal and shop fees and anything unforeseen. Price also includes balancing. At least I've got a starting point. Does this sound fair?

yeah I guess...  I remove the wheels w/ the tire from the bike and take them some place (normally Dryer Honda South) and have them remove the tire and replace it.  that normally costs about $35.
