I'm replacing my (original I think) YUASA YTX14-BS battery.  Their website has one listed but their dimensions listed are not the same as my original.

Here's my dimensions I just measured:  5 7/8" wide  5 3/4" high  3 1/4" deep
Their dimensions show as follows:          6"       wide  5 3/4" high  3 7/16 deep

So, it gotten fatter in the middle which looks like a real tight squeeze in the battery compartment but it might work.  The slightly wider width looks like it'll work.

Have any of you guys replaced your battery with the new YUASA and if so do they fit ok?

I've emailed the company but who knows how long it'll take em' to reply.  Thanks.  Steve

My ytx-14bs measures 1/8" fatter than your depth dimension...and it fits fine in my '99 standard.

Thanks guys.  Haven't heard from them yet but decided to take the plunge and ordered one online since I have to leave town tomorrow.  Maybe it'll be here by Saturday for my Sunday morning ride time.  These cost a little more but they're made in the USA and I figured if this one lasted 16  years well.  Will let you know later if it fit but I'm thinking it will.  Steve
