No, not word police,......  Some, generally of the "liberal" persuasion tend to pick on spelling or grammar or something insignificant when they can't actively participate in the conversation any longer, usually because they, or we've, determined that they are wrong.

Hello my name is Blake and I am a recovering stupid person.......

I do statement analysis and interview people who kill and hurt other people. I may not be "the best" but I have been doing it for about thirty years and still get paid for my services. I'm always locked in a small room, just me and the evil type person. That is my probable cause for beginning to prove my stupidity. Even worse I do not use restraints of any kind on the evil person while doing this, and I sit really close to the evil person, just to make them nervous, so I'm waaaay stupid. I even teach Interview & Interrogation to other people, but I'm still not saying I'm the best, that would be the stupidest thing to say and people would make fun of me. I'm guilty of class a felony stupidness.

I did notice that some of my friend could not bring themselves under any circumstances to actually use the word, stupider.  It is, for your comfort, actually in the dictionary with no note of discouragement.

Pretty perceptive. I've been called both more times than I can remember, so, it must be true. Heck, I've called myself both too many times to remember, yep, true. I hope I'm in good company.

It warms the heart to see the website administrator create a thread to bash me and organize an anti Daddie O group though.  Stay classy VRCC!  

You see, you all like being an echo chamber so much that if anyone has a dissenting opinion on a subject, you will ridicule and name call to such a point that those that disagree just avoid piping in to the conversation.  I have a thick skin, and I don't cave in to attempts to bully.  I state my points succinctly and eloquently.  I get private messages from others telling me I am their hero because I have the spine to stand up to you all.  If it makes you feel good about yourself to call me "stupider", and then try to ridicule me for pointing out the irony of such a statement, feel free.  Pat yourselves on the back and tell each other how cool you are.

Not a bash, Daddie.  Just an observation.  You can't be the president because I've already solidified that position.   

I think you're seeing a consensus that doesn't exist.  Most of these people don't even know who you are, let alone what you've said.

I take the responsibility of being an administrator very seriously, but couldn't someone now and then just let me be another human being once in a while?

Keep being who you are, Daddie.  Make adjustments as you see fit, not as anyone else demands.

I don't personally dislike you, I just disagree with almost everything you say.  There are very few people I do actually dislike, but there are A LOT that annoy me.  You have tenacity, and sometimes rather loosely mistake statements you make for facts, but I admire your dedication to your beliefs.  I try to refrain from name calling, unless it is in jest, and that is usually reserved for people I know personally.

I like this forum very much, some folks get a little abusive sometimes, but that's when you have to step into your big boy pants, and look at why they were abusive.  When you have this many people disagreeing with your position, and they think they are just as right as you are, it may be time to just agree to disagree.

This thread is one of the most stupid threads I have posted on.  It actually reminded me somewhat of a group of bullies making fun of they nerdy kid at school.  (I'm not calling the posters here bullies, nor you the nerdy kid).  I know I'm not the most intelligent person in the world, and when I am proved wrong I will admit I am wrong.  Until then I will continue to think for myself and draw my own conclusions/form my own opinions.

I don't use the word stupid or it's derivatives much. I think it's insensitive, un-progressive, un-obama like, politically incorrect and might hurt someone's feelings.

I prefer to use the words "idiots, morons, pie-in-the-sky fruitcakes and my favorite thanks to a certain Joe we all know, waterheads".

It's good to be sensitive.
