Ever since we got back from the Magical History Tour, MAN, has it ever been HOT!!!!!  crazy2 crazy2 crazy2

Records broken and stuff.  Had to do some work in the yard before I leave for Africa and man, you break into a sweat just standing in the garage.  Heat index in triple figures.  Talked to JP a few minutes ago and he said he was sweating INSIDE his house.

Looks like we are going to get a break though....may still be hot, but we may get some rain.  I thought these clouds were cool!!!!  The lower clouds were blowing in one direction and the upper clouds were blowing in the opposite direction - that is rare down here - to see weather coming in from 2 opposing directions.....

WHEW!!!  I know that Poweraid sure got some money from me this week!!!!!!!!!

Strider, man you sure know how to have a good time. First that great ride and now when you are supposed to be working you are taking pictures of clouds. Red is going to kick your little butt if you don't get them chores done. Take care Warren and be safe on your next trip.

It's the start of monsoon season here in Arizona.  See the current temp when I post this.  Was 113 earlier and yes, the humidity is up there too....    Lips Sealed

Hotter than he@@ here today.. about 106 on my thermometer.  I walk by the bike, want to ride, then go back in the house, guess I am wussing out.  I did drink copious amounts of beer tonight though, and I smoked a cigar, hung out with some friends... I guess life isn't all bad!  Now if we could get the oilfield restarted just a bit, I could probably spend more money on toys again!!!

see ya,

NCGhostrider.....<<not sure why he has been posting lately, been here for years, and usually just hangs out reading

We're hopefully headed out of Canada today, hoping to find some middle ground.  Yesterday the high was about 65, till  it started raining.

Right now radar shows about 70 miles of rain, then it shoukd pretty much clear off.  Highs around 70.  That I could live with ....

Which is what they're predicting for Inzane - highs in the 70s.  We're on our way!

Well that's not so bad- we've just had a Tsunami warning for the east coast of Australia about an hour ago!! something about a big earthquake off New Zealand- I'll just have to get riding west away from it all...

You may as well raise your t-stat to 77 and let it rest occasionally.  Most systems are good to get you a 20 degree delta from outside temps on extreme days.  Maybe, you can lower it in the evening and overnite so at least you might be comfortable overnite.

It has been knocking on 100*F here but some showers have helped and it is supposed to be in the low 90s over the weekend.  I plan on hitting the lake and throwing some bait.
