Well Cyndi and I hooked up the trailer and took it for a small shakedown ride today.
We rode up to Salina on old 81 where we made a quick stop at Harbor Freight to get a spare tire for the trailer. Then it was across old 40 to Abilene to meet up with Joe, Rob, and Shehanna
to deliver some much need clothing for Jimmy
! Poor kid has used up all the clothes in the Topeka area and had to get some from Wichita
, LOL! We had a late lunch at Ike's Bar and Grill, as Mr. K's closes at 2pm.
Not bad
and the waitress was able to handle the younger ones in the group! ??? The wonderful RR had me at 1st out so we called it a short visit and beat feet home down HWY 15. 152 miles on the Phat lady, the trailer, and Cyndi( who has not ridden hardly at all this year
) did great.
Nice day, good roads, and seeing good friends makes for a great Saturday.
