I  got officially darksided last week and i'm loving it. the michilan primacy handles great, changed front tire to a dunlop 404 with a great profile TOO, all fluids been changed and  break and clutch were flashed and bled, radiator flashed and oil and gear oil changed as well. lost power in the whole  rear of the bike to find out   i bottomed out and broke the harness under the rear fender. fixed it and inflated the air shocks and its all good. now its riding time again  Grin

I was wondering if you got it figured out. When you called I didn't know you had made the change, guess I at least pointed you in the right direction.

Was bottoming out on you....gotta watch those calories, huh?   2funny

Glad you like the tire Larue since you went on my recommendation.  Now just keep a record of when you installed it mileage wise and be sure and look at the splines, O-rings, etc. and grease them every 10,000 miles or so even though the tire will not be worn out.

 cooldude cooldude Congrats Larue!
Sorry to hear of you bottoming out, I did the same thing and totaled the connector under the rear fender; while 1500 miles from home. Had lights on my aux fuel tank to get me through at the time. I have been wanting to replace my rear shocks to avoid that in the future; I want firmer, not higher shocks.
I believe you will really like the ride and handling of the darkside  conversion. With the weather change, hope we can all get together soon!
