I didn't know there was one, thanks, for a newbe, what the link. I found one in the phone book but he was not home and could not check his inventory. Anyone know the part number I should be asking for?

The filter is an:
EAOM103 or EAOM103C

The C stands for Chrome

If you're going to purchase alot of product I suggest that you talk to them about signing up as a preferred customer $20/yr or as a dealer $30/yr.

This will let you purchase products at the wholesale price.

As an Amsoil dealer I haven't heard about this.

I'm not disputing you, I'm just saying that I hadn't heard about it.


I know that if I sold someone a "defective" filter that I'd replace it for them even if Amsoil wouldn't (that's just good business).

I would think that I wouldn't have an issue getting them to replace an item proven to be defective.


I do know that within the last 2-3 years Amsoil has changed who manufactures their filters for them.

I don't know if this was due in part to quality control issues with the previous manufacturer or not.

I do know that the corporation takes great pride in the Amsoil name and would not tolerate someone making an inferior product with their name on it.

I still use the Amsoil 20 w 50 but not there filters,  I'm trying to remember who it was that posted, but if I remember correctly they had 2 fail . so I went out and checked mine YEP ! same thing.

I haven't had a problem.......

They have changed manufactures and design within the last 2-3 years.....


The old filters were designated as SMF the new ones are EAOM.
