Hopefully there is a speed sensor that keeps it from deploying at the wrong time
Near the end of this video the rider uses reverse to back out of the garage
System mounted on a Goldwing, Posted because it looks like the bike is equipped with a windshield wiper ?

it's really useless unless you're at a stop sign and you slip when you put your foot down. if you've got any forward movement, it's useless 'cause it won't "plant" it's foot down good enough.

It looks like a great invention that might allow disabled or amputees to continue riding. I'm all for giving hope to those that would otherwise not be able to enjoy the thrills and freedom of riding.

DenverDave, Goldwings sold in Japan have windshield wipers. Be nice if we could get them too.

Smokin joe would have those ground down to nothin with just one pass on the dragon as for the arm that swings out, I have a kickstand that does the same job even though I have almost dropped mine at a stop sign. Right foot hit an oil slick and over I was going. Somehow kept her up off the ground.

That looks to be targeted at the disabled or elderly rider who for whatever reason is unable to hold the bike up under their own steam, allowing him take off and land. Excellent idea to extend ones riding years .

A buddy of mine fitted one of these http://www.peerclear.com/ to his GL1500. He reckons it was one of his better buys.

Agreed, sure hope I and my friends never need one. But, if that's the only way I or they can ride, it's better than sitting there waiting to die.

It might work for someone, but not me. Did you notice the reverse shifter on the left side?

Get rid of the side stand and just make the pipes act as a center-stand!!!!!!! Have the pipes drop like in the videos, then flare out a few degrees.
