Me and Dennis rode over the hill to Clayton to meet up with Stanley Steamer and ...  Embarrassed ... his
pal from work and started off our ride with lunch at this place...

Stanley's pal has a nice white Harley...

We charged off down 76 out of Clayton to hit 197...

Stopped for a second at this overlook... what would you do if you saw a live camera?

GASP!

From the DQ, South Carolina is just a few miles away... I lead Dennis across the
line on some back roads I found when I was making my first Valkyrie rides...

Carolyn went horse riding this morning, we got home at the same time...

My bike sure does run good... spark plugs, vacuum caps and a new vacuum line to #6...  cooldude

Thanks everyone, a great start to a great year!

Nice report Mike  cooldude   The thought crossed my mind this morning when Steamer posted about this ride to gas on it and see if I could find y'all.... Then reality hit me and I knew unless I put wings on the fat girl I couldn't make the hook up point in time.

Those East-Tennessee/Western-North-Carolina places where you go on day rides sure
do have the good mountain views... I took Dennis down this side road on the
way to Clayton and missed the only turn that doesn't go dirt while I was
looking at the mountains...
