The day started in the 40's (F˚) with no clouds and very little wind…
There were various meet-up spots for everybody. Mine and 2K1SUPERVALK's was Blanco town square. Timing was good and soon the rest of the gang rolled in…

2K1SUPERVALK led us out of Blanco towards our dining location through the beautiful Hill Country…
It is a given that the Central Texas Hill Country has some of the best riding roads anywhere with beautiful views and plenty of curves, but the Hill Country is also rich with history. Every time I ride out this way I am never bored -- there is always something new to discover…
…soon we landed at Lindig's Cafe in Stonewall…
L-R: 2K1SUPERVALK (Damien), Me (Charlie), MR & MRS BURNOUT (Curtis & Judy), Mofo (Tommy), OLD & MRS GEEZER (Ricard & Lisa)Food at Lindig's was good and so was the service. Satiated, we headed over to MR and MRS BURNOUT's daughter and son in-law's cabins. These sit right across the creek from Luckenbach on 1376. These cabins are great! Once they are finished I predict it will be hard to get a reservation due to high demand!
As Time will do, it snuck up on us…
again! After our goodbyes, I led the group from the Luckenbach cabins towards Blanco. We all peeled off at different locations to enjoy the rest of our Sunday doing whatever we do away from our VRCC family.
Even though we are in the "dead of winter", the Hill Country is still a beautiful place full of wonder…
