If you are wanting best place for best price.... I recommend you find the price you like from any, and I mean ANY, online vendor (HDL/DLP, Bike Bandit, JC WHITNEY or whoever/whatever) and then see if your local dealership will price match that price.  Usually, shipping and handling can impact/skew on line order prices, whereas local dealers can order the items and have them included in normal shipments from the factory and no special handing or shipping charges apply.  However.... then local sales taxes may come in to play.    You need to balance all that on a scale and decide which is best for you.

As for best place.... I have seen certain items priced better at one place over the other and the other place have better prices on other things.

I've always found the best source and pricing to be HDL Parts. Bike Bandit is a good name for them. Evil

I really have no loyalty to any one online vendor. I shop and compare them all each time I need parts. As far as my local dealer is concerned....I wouldn't buy a piece of bubble gum from them.

I haven't purchased any dampeners yet but others have said its best to get the ones that are for the interstate model as it comes with the metal part in the damper already.

Who was the other vender who had Gary's or like dampers for sale here?

I still have 2 new sets of Gary's, bought the last before he past away. Now that I have a GL1500 GW, I can use them in there.
