Gear Jammer here !!

Well folks, it's pretty much done now.  After buying the bike two years ago, I set out on my quest for parts and pieces to make it into something uniquely my own.  After many, many hours on the internet and a few dollars  Roll Eyes , I think I've fulfilled that goal, at least in part.  I'm certain that this is the only one like it, since I sat down with the painter and designed the paint scheme and theme.  The Honda Valkyrie's which came in Black and Yellow, are commonly known as Bumble Bees.  Some guys have taken that a step further, and painted some yellow stripes onto black bikes to make them even more like a bee.   Well, you know me, I went several steps beyond that and made mine a Super Bee. There are bees, and then there are BEES !   Cool  Reviving the memories of my 1969 Dodge Magnum Super Bee, I've melded the Valkyrie BumbleBee and the Dodge Super Bee motif into my own Valkyrie Six Pack Magnum Super Bee.  Not too many graphics, just 3 Super Bee emblems painted on the saddle bags and the top of the tank.  There are some original 1969 Super Bee emblems added on the side of the engine, the radiator grill, the front fender and 2 new 2008 Bee emblems on the front brake rotor covers.  I tried to keep a "minimalist" paint scheme, as the Dodge had only the one tail stripe around the rear quarter panel, a Bee emblem on the front grill and trunk deck lid, and an emblem on each hood scoop.   So there are no dragons, Viking warriors or  bare-breasted (my favoirte kind)   angel  Valkyrie Maidens,,, just a Super Bee.
So I can now at least rest temporarily from my parts search.  The pic shows the bike with the AUX fuel tank mounted on the rear. This will come off when not going on a road trip somewhere.  There's also the little Voyaguer XL3 trailer painted to match the bike.
Many thanks go to a number of folks who contributed in one way or another. Some sold me parts, some provided me with tech support, some gave advice and suggestions, and some provided nothing less than inspiration   cooldude.     I'm sure I'm leaving out some names that are from so long ago I just don't remember them, and in some cases I never knew their names since they were Ebay sellers.  But to mention a few to whom I owe a debt of thanks..
